This Friday June 7th is Dog-Eared Cafè’s open mic poetry night with your host @maichina.writes from @b.lit.fest and the theme is
PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈

”Dog-Eared Café has been a stand-up space that is safe and inclusive and I’m !!!SO!!! excited to be able to host this queer poetry night with the wonderful owners, staff, poets, and audience!
There is no obligation to queer poets to share on their identities or offer up specifically 2SLGBTQ+ work. However, if you’re comfortable with this, please do! When we are our authentic selves, it makes our world safer, more vibrant, and all around lovelier — and encourages other folks to be their authentic selves!
While the theme is Pride, all individuals are welcome to attend and share at this event.”
Sign up starts at 6:30PM. Poets wax on from
7:00PM-9:00PM. There are plenty of amazing snack and bevvy options too, so eat well, drink responsibly, and enjoy an evening of poetry!
